Considering all the much-anticipated movies coming out this holiday season and early next year, it’s important not to waste time on poorly rated films.

We’ve read up on several movies with promising reviews and plots and marked them by genre so that you can see some great flicks in 2022!
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” - Action

The third movie in the newest Spider-Man franchise features the reprise roles of Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Zendaya as MJ. The film, coming to theaters Dec. 17, will also star Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx as Electro and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, according to IMDB.

“After Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man was exposed by Mysterio at the end of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), his life and reputation are turned upside down. Parker asks Dr. Strange to help restore his secret identity with magic, but this breaks open the multiverse, allowing supervillains from alternate realities who previously fought alternate versions of Spider-Man to arrive,” according to the plot synopsis on IMDB.

Spider-Man isn’t the only action-superhero movie to look out for next year, though. This chart, courtesy of RPK News on Twitter, shows an action film to get excited for every month of 2022!

Although much of the plot of the film has been kept under wraps, the movie takes place in an alternate dimension, where the protagonist Mr. Anderson takes another leap of faith in order to find out if he himself is even real. He learns that choice is the only way to escape the Matrix, but it is more dangerous than ever before, according to the trailer from Warner Bros.

Starring Keanu Reeves, Christina Ricci, and Jessica Henwick as the main cast, “The Matrix Resurrections” also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris in a fourth riveting multi-dimensional escapade.
