With Halloween just around the corner, the options for spooky nail designs are endless.
If you want a less frightening nail look, you can try skull red candy apple nails.
All you will need is a dotting tool, or even a bobby pin to make the dots, and a paintbrush for the skull! You can even use a toothpick if you do not have a brush.

Step 1: Use a base coat and let dry. Step 2: Paint two coats of bright red nail polish, waiting for each coat to dry in between. Step 3: Using a dotting tool, toothpick, or a bobby pin, dip the end in white nail polish and put a dot in the center bottom part of the nail. Step 4: On the accent nail, use a small brush or bobby pin to make a half circle with white nail polish and drag the polish to make two longer lines. Step 5: Using a brush or toothpick, make two larger triangles and one smaller one to make the skull eyes and nose. Step 6: Wait for the polish to dry a little, then seal with a top coat to make it shiny, just like a freshly picked apple.
Watch out for poisoned apples this spooky season!

If you are going for a more slasher vibe this season, try some blood streaked nails. All you will need is a toothpick or a small brush.
Step 1: Use a base coat and let dry. Step 2: Paint two coats of white polish, letting each coat dry in between. Step 3: Using the nail polish brush or a clean brush, paint random red lines on the nails. If using the nail polish brush, use the toothpick to drag the polish around the nail, creating a streak effect. Have fun with the lines, no need to look pretty! Step 4: Let dry, then finish with a top coat.

If you want a simpler look, just paint all white and all black nails! If anyone asks, you can call it a ghost in a snowstorm. Whatever you decide to paint your nails this season, don't forget to look out for the goblins, ghosts and ghouls."Happy painting!
